About the event

The Bergen Student Games are Norways largest sporting event for students, taking place from 7 to 11 October 2026. Over five days, around 2500 participants come together to compete and celebrate across 25 different sports, from the big team sports to ones you may never have tried before. One of this year's highlights is the Nordic Championship in 3x3 basketball, with teams from Norway, Sweden and Finland.

The games are organised by Bergen Challenge, a voluntary student organisation run by students for students. What matters most to us is not who wins, but that everyone gets to experience the joy of sport, a sense of community and a feeling of belonging, whatever their level or background. Around the competitions we fill the week with concerts, shows and experiences, so there is always something to take part in both on and off the field.
