Sammen Student Life consists of five advisors who are here for you—whether you are already engaged, or want to get involved.

We know that running an association is rewarding, but also time-consuming and sometimes frustrating, and we aim to make that work a little easier. Whether you need help starting a new organisation, managing a conflict, planning an event, or developing yourself as a leader, we offer courses, guidance, and sparring tailored to you and your association.

Get to know our advisors

Henrik Tjore, Advisor Bergen

I have an educational background in film production and early childhood education, and I have previously worked as a communications advisor. During my studies, I was actively involved in both the volunteer sector and student democracy, holding several leadership roles throughout this period.

My expertise is largely related to recruitment, change management, project work, conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. I enjoy seeing others succeed and aim to equip Student Associations with the tools they need to thrive!

Jakop Kjellstad, Advisor Bergen

I hold a degree in comparative politics and have also studied sustainable leadership and community development. In addition, I have extensive experience from student volunteering in Bergen. During my studies, I was active in Student Associations and student democracy at the University of Bergen, including several roles within Studentersamfunnet and Kulturstyret in Bergen.

At Sammen Studentliv, I work on projects that promote student engagement, provide guidance to Student Associations, and deliver courses and events. My expertise is particularly related to organizational development, project management, and facilitating sustainable and inclusive Student Associations. I enjoy supporting students and student leaders and aim to make it easier to manage and run a Student Association.

Julie Staff-Iversen Eikeland, Advisor Bergen

I hold degrees in economics and administration, leadership, and literary studies, and I have a background in student volunteering at UiB and NHH. At Sammen Studentliv, I work with the Leadership Academy, as well as guidance and courses related to leadership and finance. I love working with engaged students and student leaders who are passionate about creating strong and inclusive Student Associations.

My expertise is primarily within leadership, organizational development, and finance. Please feel free to get in touch if you or your association would like support in any of these areas.

Michelle Jensen, Advisor Stord and Haugesund

I have a background in media and communication. At Sammen Studentliv, I work with events, student associations, and guidance. I am passionate about strengthening the student environment, creating great meeting spaces, and being a supportive sparring partner for Student Associations.

My expertise is particularly within marketing, and planning and executing events.

Lovise Vårvik-Lea, Advisor Sogndal og Førde

I am a qualified teacher of Nordic languages from the University of Stavanger, with additional academic background in psychology and English literature. Before joining Sammen, I worked in schools for several years. During my studies, I was actively involved in student volunteering in Stavanger, where I held several roles and gained broad experience in organizational work.

In my role at Sammen Studentliv, I focus on being a reliable and solution-oriented support for students. I work to make it easy to get involved in volunteering and to help create strong student communities. My expertise includes establishing new Student Associations, conflict management, and organizational development.
