Sammen Studentliv changes its name to Sammen Foreninger
Sammen Studentliv is becoming Sammen Foreninger. The name change marks a stronger commitment to student associations in Western Norway.

Why the new name?
The new name, Sammen Foreninger ("Sammen Associations"), makes it clearer who the service is for and what it's about: the student associations on the West Coast and everyone who volunteers their time in them.
The name change also reflects a growing investment in student associations across the region. In recent years the offering has expanded with several new services, including the association portal with its event calendar, and the new name makes it clearer what we actually offer.
– We've built up more and more services for student associations over the past few years, and we wanted a name that reflects what we actually do. Sammen Foreninger is simply a clearer front door for everyone involved in the association scene on the West Coast, says Henrik Tjore, advisor at Sammen Foreninger.
What does this mean for you and your association?
Sammen Foreninger will continue to offer:
- Courses in areas such as leadership, finance, meeting facilitation, and board work
- Advising for student organizations and students holding elected or appointed roles
- The association portal, where associations can promote events and activities
- The Studentliv Conference, Norway's largest conference for student volunteering
All offerings remain free for all students, just as before.
