We support student leaders and therefore bring together engaged groups of student leaders for Lederakademietš
Last updated:

Lederakademiet is a program consisting of four sessions for those who want to become better leaders, build networks, and create more value and efficient operations in their student association. We encourage engaged students who hold positions in a student association to apply. You do not need extensive leadership experience ā motivation and engagement are what matter most!
What is Lederakademiet?
Lederakademiet is a leadership development program tailored for student leaders. You gain knowledge, tools, and a network that help you feel more confident in your leadership role. As a leader in a student association, you must balance many roles: motivating others, managing relationships, contributing to the development of the association, and at the same time understanding yourself and your own strengths. The program consists of four modules with a focus on:
- Self-leadership
- Leading others
- Leading the association
- Network building
Through case work, a practical project with guidance, guest lectures, experience sharing, and group assignments, you will develop as a leader. You will learn, among other things, how to lead yourself when things are hectic, how to bring people with you, and how to create structure and direction in your student association. You will also gain insight into how to build networks and collaborate effectively with others.
During the program, you will get to know other participants who also have responsibilities, ambitions, and perhaps share the wish for a few extra hours in the day. The sessions focus on sharing experiences, testing ideas, and figuring things out together. The approach is practical and relevant, and you will take away tools you can use immediately.
Throughout the semester, you will have the opportunity to apply what you learn in practice by completing a project in your student association. Your project will be a common thread throughout the semester, and you will discuss, explore, and develop it together with the other participants. The goal is to give you tools and competence to become more effective in your role, and thereby gain more time and energy to enjoy everything that student life and student associations have to offer.
As a participant in Lederakademiet, you will get:
- Four sessions with professional input, cases, and group assignments
- Food during the sessions and a closing dinner after the final session
- Practical tools for leading both yourself and others
- Guidance on the project you carry out
- A strong network of other engaged student leaders
- A certificate and course diploma
All participants who complete Lederakademiet with approved attendance will receive a personal certificate and course diploma at the end of the program.
The program is ran in Norwegian. If you have questions, please contact us at studentliv@sammen.no.
