Every year, something truly special happens in the heart of the city: Grieghallen is transformed into Bergen’s largest arena for student volunteering and student life.
During Welcome Week, you can take part in the biggest recruitment event for student organizations. Everything from political and non-profit organizations to sports clubs, marching bands, and student media comes together under one roof, giving you a unique opportunity to discover how you want to spend your free time as a student in Bergen.
Here, you can talk to students, ask questions, and get to know Bergen’s vibrant student community. Maybe you’ll find a basketball team, a running club, a student magazine—or something you never knew you were missing.

New to the city?
Getting involved in a student organization is one of the best things you can do during your studies. You’ll make friends, experience achievement and personal growth outside the lecture hall, and build a network that can last a lifetime. Not least, it looks great on your CV.
