How to use the event calendar
Will your association have events during the semester that you would like to promote? Then you should add them to the event calendar – here we show you how.

The event calendar is easy to use, whether you are looking to find something to attend or want to publish events for your association.
We encourage you to use the calendar for open events such as matches, concerts, debates, parties, and similar activities. You can also use it for events that are “members only,” but this must be clearly marked. This makes it easy for students to see which events they can actually attend, and hopefully it will also help increase attendance at your events.
Step 1: Log in
Log in using your My page account. Contacts for associations have access to the association’s page here. If you are going to be a contact person, you must first create a profile. You can then be added by the association’s contact persons or by Sammen Studentliv.
Step 2: Create an event
Once you are logged in, click on your association. You will then be taken to your landing page. At the top, under the association’s name, you will find the “Events” button. Click this, then click “Create event.”
Step 3: Choose eventtype
You will now make your first choice: do you want to publish an event that takes place only once, or a series of recurring events? Select the option you prefer.
Step 4: Fill in
Fill in the information and upload a suitable event image. Remember to choose whether the event is digital or physical, and whether it is open to everyone or members only. At the bottom of the form, you can add an external link, for example to a registration form, ticket purchase, or live stream. Make sure to give the button appropriate text.
Step 5: Create event
Click “Create event.” You will receive a confirmation that the event has been created. If you click “View created event,” you will be taken to the event page, where you can review the information and make sure everything is correct.
Not a contact person for your association?
Are you not a contact person for the association but need to publish events? First, you must create a user account on the website. After that, the association’s contact persons can add you. If the association does not have any active contact persons, you can contact Sammen Studentliv, and we will help you.
