Funding for Student Associations

Every year, Sammen distributes millions of Norwegian kroner from the semester fee to student organizations in Western Norway!

The funding awarded supports everything from large sports clubs and student media to student societies and programme associations. In Bergen, the funds are allocated by students serving on the Cultural Board in Bergen. At our study locations outside Bergen, the funding is distributed by students in the local campus committees at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. Taken together, this support forms an important pillar of these organizations’ finances and helps ensure that thousands of students have access to a broad and varied range of activities at their place of study.
