Facilities in Bergen

In Bergen, there are several facilities available for Student Associations to use, whether for activities, events, rehearsals, or meetings. Below you will find an overview of some of these options.

Sports Facilities

For Student Associations engaged in physical activity or sports, there are several good opportunities to borrow or rent sports halls and training facilities in Bergen. The two main providers are Sammen and the Municipality of Bergen. Read more about how to proceed on the websites below:

Cultural Venues

If you are planning concerts, performances, rehearsals, or other cultural activities, there are several suitable venues available for Student Associations.

Studentvillaen in C18 is managed by Kulturstyret and offers meeting rooms and common areas. Student Organizations in Bergen can apply for access.

Meieriet ↗
Meieriet is the student house in Sogndal. It is operated on a daily basis by Studentsamfunnet in Sogndal.

Facilities in Haugesund

Studentenes Hus
Studentenes Hus is the Student Associations’ own building, with office spaces and storage facilities. All students involved in a Student Association can gain access. Here, you can hold meetings and organize social gatherings for members. There is also a large storage area for equipment. The building is located just below the university college, on the second floor above Pedalen bicycle shop.

Studentersamfundet ↗
Studenthuset Granheim is the student house at Rommetveit. It is operated by the Student Association Studentersamfundet. Here, you can hold meetings and organize social gatherings for members. The building is located on campus, below the artificial turf field. Contact Studentersamfundet to arrange access.

Akutten ↗
Akutten is the student bar in Førde, located on the ground floor at HVL Campus Førde.

Førdehuset ↗
Førdehuset offers well-suited venues for most occasions, accommodating between 2 and 600 people. They rent to organizations, businesses, and private individuals, and the facilities are suitable for courses, conferences, and meetings.
