About the event

Many of us have ideas and literary projects but lack a community to share them with. If you’re lucky, you might have a friend or family member willing to listen to or read what you write. Otherwise, encouragement and recognition can sometimes feel like something you have to wait for until you’re a published author.

Creative writing programmes, however, are built around coming together, sharing feedback, and helping each other grow. That’s the idea behind Immaturus’ Writing Group as well. We’re an open group for both students and non-students who happen to find themselves in Bergen on a Tuesday afternoon.

We welcome aspiring writers and lovers of language, songwriters and storytellers alike. Experience doesn’t matter. You share whatever you feel comfortable sharing, and together we create a community of creative souls where ideas can be planted and given room to grow.

In our little garden, we listen to each other and to the world around us. We exchange encouraging, constructive, and inspiring words to create an inclusive and creative writing community.
