Welcome to the beginner course

This is a 16-hour weekend course where you will learn basic techniques for safe and efficient paddling. After completing the course, you will receive a Wet Card with a sticker for the NPF Sea Kayaking Beginner Course, and you will have the opportunity to become a member of BSI, use the club’s equipment, and join trips and training sessions.

BSI Padling organizes beginner courses in accordance with the Wet Card progression system of the Norwegian Paddle Federation. You can read more about the courses on the NPF website.

There are 6 spots available in the course, and at least 3 participants must register for the course to be held.
This course may be adapted for English-speaking participants.
