Do you have to maxx in life to thrive?
Sammen
Bergen, Ad fontes, Sydnesplassen 7, 5006 Bergen
About the event
We can always make things a little better. Whether it's our health, reading habits, or ability to relax. But is that actually good for us? And how does this phenomenon affect student life?
This year's SHoT (Student Health and Wellbeing Survey) shows that many students are highly concerned with their health, and many experience worries related to their body, food, and lifestyle. Although this year's figures are better than those from the previous survey in 2022, and Vestland performs well compared to the national average, 50.2% still want to lose weight, and 23.2% report having poor or very poor quality of life.
What do these numbers really mean, and how do social media help sustain this intense focus? Is it harmless entertainment, or a public health issue?
Join us to gain a deeper understanding of how you can thrive without having to max out every aspect of life.
Note: The event will be held in norwegian.
