🗣️The Difficult Conversation

The Difficult Conversation is a conversation tool for leaders who need to address something that is not working, a concern, or unacceptable behaviour. Sammen offers courses on how to conduct difficult conversations and can also provide guidance in preparation for a difficult conversation.

This conversation can have two purposes.
(1) You can offer the volunteer new perspectives or raise issues that may not be immediately visible.
(2) Alternatively, you can gain a better understanding of the situation yourself, in order to assess what needs to be done to address the conflict.

🤝The Mediated Conversation

A mediated conversation takes place between the parties involved in a conflict. It requires that both parties are willing to meet and that the conflict is negotiable. The goal is to reach an agreement that everyone has a stake in and contributes to.
