Vokalensemblet Multa Paucis

Multa Paucis is an award-winning women's choir based in Bergen, an amateur ensemble performing at a near-professional level.

The choir places particular emphasis on Scandinavian contemporary music and traditional folk music. The distinctive Scandinavian choral sound is cultivated through the performance of contemporary repertoire. At the same time, traditional music is performed using a practice inspired by the Norwegian kveding tradition (traditional vocal folk singing). Building on this foundation, the choir works extensively with improvisational forms of expression, contributing to innovative and boundary-pushing performances in its concerts.
