TVIST-dotten
TVIST-dotten is a traditional satire newspaper that has been an important part of the 17 May celebrations in Bergen since 1936. Every year, committed students from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences gather to create a newspaper that deals with the year's events and current topics with sharp and subtle humor.

Our activities
With creative freedom and a satirical eye, the students create content that both entertains and provides new perspectives on the past year. As Wikipedia so accurately describes it: "It is not rare for the newspaper to contain articles with very little root in reality". Here you get the freedom to write about almost anything you want! To join, just send us a message! The newspaper is the result of students' creative collaboration and joy of writing. On National Day, you can meet the committed students and get a copy in the main procession. In this way, the TVIST dot becomes a natural part of the city's 17 May celebrations. The TVIST dot not only represents a long tradition, but also a vibrant community of students who come together to spread humor and joy on Norway's national day.Awards
