Our activities

Musikselskabet Larmonien was founded on February 21, 1966, and is thus among the oldest student bands in Bergen. At Larmonien, all musicians are welcome regardless of faculty, and the focus is on social enjoyment of playing. This is clearly reflected in the band's motto: "Inimicissima musicae", which means "Music's worst enemy". Larmonien is a very pleasant and relaxed band to join, and can be a great fit for those who want to pick up old band skills or those who want to keep playing.

In addition to having a lot of fun at rehearsals, there is also a party every now and then. Other things on the annual calendar are playing on the train on May 17, a cabin trip, a Halloween party, outdoor performances around Christmas time and semester concerts.

Larmonien does not operate with entrance exams, so just join any rehearsal. All interested parties are welcome! We have practice every Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Christies gate 18, right next to Kvarteret. Hope to see you there!
