Medisinsk Studentutvalg, MEDSU

The Medical Student Committee represents all students at the Faculty of Medicine and works actively to improve students’ academic and social study environment. MEDSU consists of representatives from all subject committees across the faculty’s various study programs, as well as independently elected representatives.

As the students’ representatives, MEDSU serves as an important link between the students, the other faculties, the dean’s office, and the central university leadership at the University of Bergen. This is done, among other things, through representation in various councils and committees, maintaining regular dialogue with other student committees, holding the overall responsibility for the orientation week, and allocating financial support to student organizations.
