K 7 Bulletin
K7 Bulletin is an independent student newspaper in Bergen, with offices at NHH. Bulle publishes news articles, in-depth studies of economics and society, and cultural material. The newspaper is obliged to follow the Vær Varsom poster, which means that the newspaper follows good press ethics.
Bulle has been published at NHH since April 1964. After two issues, the newspaper was named K7 after a competition. The winning proposal came from students Dag Tresselt and Christen Christensen, and is an abbreviation for Kåre Syvertsen, a columnist who had already been established in the 1960s. Syvertsen is the college's fictitious eternal student, and was registered for exams for a number of years, to the great dismay of the study administration.
In 1968, K7 Bulletin was also published, first as a weekly supplement, then as a regular publication. If you would like to read older issues of the K7 Bulletin, or find out more about our history, you can visit the NHH Alumni digital archive on Issuu.
