Our activities

BSI aikido is open to everyone, newbeginners and experienced aikidoka, students and non-students. Aikido is a Japanese martial art, and it is free of competition. The various exercises and techniques are most often performed in pairs, and partners are rotated so that everyone gets to train with everyone. The focus is on technique rather than strength. We practice both with and without weapons - wooden swords, staffs and knives.

We practice mainly at Sammen City, and there is free admission to our trainings in weeks 34 and 35, Monday and Wednesday. The first two weeks are also free to train with us regardless of whether you start in weeks 34, 35, or later, but after week 35 an ordinary admission fee to the center itself is the default.

Our training times are Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7-9 pm, second floor of Sammen City. Friday trainings are not regularly occurring, and are informed about in advance.
