Sammen Foreninger supports student organisations an by offering skills development courses and guidance. In addition, we work to highlight student volunteering and make it attractive both to participate and to take on roles. The first months of the semester are particularly busy, especially in connection with the welcome weeks.
We are now looking for three student assistants to join the team from August 1, 2026, to September 31, 2026. The positions will mainly be connected to three key projects.
Faddervaktordningen contributes to a safe welcome week for new students in Bergen (week 33). From a fixed stand at Torgallmenningen, we distribute water and light snacks to students. The student assistants are responsible for coordinating the setup and dismantling of the stand and act as contact persons for the buddy committees staffing it, as well as for volunteers walking patrols around the city.
“Finn din greie/Find Your Student Organisation” is an event designed to inspire new students to get involved in student organisations. Student assistants are responsible for planning and running the event, including delivering an introductory presentation.
Felles Fadderopplæring gathers more than 700 buddies from several institutions and prepares them for their important role. Student assistants contribute to both coordination and content.
All positions will be involved in all three projects. Most of the work takes place in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and necessary training and follow-up will be provided in June and early August.
The role includes ensuring the safe and responsible execution of stands and patrol rounds during the welcome week, particularly during evening and nighttime shifts as part of the Buddy Guard Scheme. Responsibilities also include planning and carrying out events, delivering presentations, handling other tasks within the Student Life department, and promoting volunteering and student engagement during the welcome weeks.
We are looking for candidates with experience from student volunteering and student organizations in Bergen, who are comfortable delivering presentations and leading courses, and who enjoy managing projects and organizing events. A strong motivation to contribute to Bergen as a vibrant student city characterized by diversity and engagement is highly valued. Personal suitability will also be emphasized.
