About being the association’s contact person

Here you will find useful information about being a contact person for an association

Last updated:

Being a contact person involves the following

  • You serve as the contact person for the association.
  • Your name and email address will be displayed on the association portal at sammen.no (this can be hidden manually. Contact Sammen Studentliv for assistance).
  • You will receive a newsletter from Sammen Studentliv approximately every fourteen days with important and relevant information for active members of the association (you can opt out of this under My Profile by removing the checkmark for newsletters).
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the information about the association is correct, and for updating it if anything within the association changes.

Note

  • Remember to update the association profile under My Associations every 6 months so that the association is not marked as inactive. You will automatically be notified when the deadline is approaching. Therefore, make sure the email address you have registered is one you will continue to have access to, for example if you change your field of study.
  • When someone leaves or changes responsibilities within the association, it is important that the correct contact person is given access to the association profile in My Associations. You can add new contact persons directly in My Associations.
  • Many students visit the association overview every month. This is a great opportunity to recruit new members, so make sure you have included good and detailed information about who you are and what you do.
