New to the Board

This is our most popular course. We know that handovers and knowledge transfer can be time-consuming and challenging. Sammen Student Life therefore offers a course designed to make the transition easier. The course covers the key topics for new boards and aims to give you a strong foundation for your work.

Leadership in Student Associations

As a leader, you need to master a wide range of tasks. You must delegate, set goals and manage by them, understand the individuals around you, and gain insight into your Student Association, to name a few.
In this course, you will learn more about the leadership role, different leadership styles, motivation techniques, and delegation. The course also includes practical exercises and experience-sharing.

The Difficult Conversation

This course teaches you a structured communication technique for planning, conducting, and following up on concerns and/or unwanted behavior within your organization.

Conflict Management and Conflict Resolution

This course provides insight into methods and tools for handling and resolving conflicts in student volunteering. You will learn how to identify conflicts and manage them constructively.

Meeting Facilitation

This course is for anyone who plans and leads small or large meetings. We cover how to engage quieter participants and moderate those who tend to dominate discussions. We also introduce tools to help the group stay on schedule and on topic.
The goal is to give participants the skills to lead meetings that energize rather than drain.

Finance Course

This course teaches you how to create a budget, keep accounts, and establish good financial routines. You will learn to use a tailored Excel template that makes it easy to manage your Student Association’s finances and generate reports.

Sustainable Student Associations

In this course, you will learn what it takes to build and maintain a sustainable organization over time. Topics include recruitment, member motivation, establishing stable income streams, and organizing your association in a way that ensures continuity, safety, and knowledge-sharing.

Course for Student Representatives

Regardless of the organizational context, student representatives play a crucial role. This course covers relevant topics for students in representative roles and aims to provide greater insight and understanding of the responsibilities involved.

Speaking Up in an Organization

This course focuses on how to speak up in meetings and assemblies. We explore different methods to make it easier to contribute. The course emphasizes a high level of interaction among participants.

Presentation Skills

Do you find it challenging to present in front of others? You’re not alone. Mastering presentations is about delivering your message clearly and engagingly.
This course consists largely of practical exercises and techniques aimed at strengthening your presentation skills and identifying areas for improvement.
